Vision

Faculty of Medicine at Tanta National University seeks to be a pioneer in medical education, scientific research, and community service in the central Delta region. It aims to effectively contribute to preparing distinguished doctors and researchers who are capable of developing advanced healthcare and practicing medicine within the local and regional communities.

Mission

  • - To provide outstanding medical education through an advanced academic program that keeps pace with the latest global standards, focusing on competency-based education and the development of critical thinking and lifelong learning skills among students.
  • - To prepare doctors who have professionalism and ethics by instilling values of integrity in students and qualifying them to efficiently and professionally handle medical and ethical challenges.
  • - To promote scientific research and innovation by providing a stimulating environment for applied and clinical research, and motivating academic staff members and students to participate in solving urgent health problems.
  • - To serve the community and enhance healthcare by delivering outstanding medical services to citizens, actively participating in health awareness initiatives, and contributing to the development of healthcare in the central Delta region and throughout Egypt.

Educational Objectives of the Integrated Program :-

  1. To provide students with up-to-date basic medical knowledge.
  2. To prepare students to apply medical knowledge and use it to solve patients’ clinical problems.
  3. To develop communication, cognitive, clinical, and leadership skills.
  4. To integrate the various branches of medicine to prepare a competent physician.
  5. To give students the freedom to choose some elective courses.
  6. To encourage students to engage in continuous medical education and apply scientific research methodology.
  7. To adhere to the fundamental principles of professional ethics.
  8. To link medical education with community needs.
