Mission

Faculty of Dentistry at Tanta University is committed to providing high-quality and outstanding dental education to prepare professionally and ethically qualified graduates capable of meeting the needs of society and keeping pace with global advancements in dental research, to offer distinguished community service.

Program Objectives

1. To provide students with up-to-date knowledge, information, and advanced skills that enable them to excel and act professionally in the field of dentistry at both regional and international levels.
2. To train students on how to integrate academic and clinical studies with patient care, and to highlight the significance of the doctor–patient relationship.
3. To foster the principles of professional ethics that define the professional characteristics of a dentist.
4. To promote teamwork concept, which enhances students’ communication skills.
5. To strengthen students’ active learning abilities by training them to use various sources of information, research methods, and study strategies to develop the capacity to solve clinical, professional, and administrative problems.
6. To create academic pathways that facilitate collaboration with Egyptian and international universities in the field of oral and dental medicine.
