2	Academic Excellence Scholarship for Tanta National University Students	First Place: 30% Second Place: 25% Third Place: 20%	Awarded to students ranking first, second, or third in the academic programs of Tanta National University, including tied rankings. Applicants must not have previously received any scholarship since enrolling at Tanta National University.	Students must maintain the same academic ranking in subsequent academic years.
3	Scholarship for Athletically Gifted Students	30%	Applicants must provide official documentation proving they have won an Olympic, African, or Arab medal.	Students must successfully pass all courses and achieve the minimum GPA required for progression to the next academic level.
4	Scholarship for Sons of Faculty Members and Employees of Tanta University	20%	Applicants must provide proof that they are the sons of current, retired, or deceased faculty members or employees of Tanta University.	Students must maintain a minimum overall grade of Good or the equivalent semester GPA throughout their studies at Tanta National University.
5	Sibling Scholarship	10%	Applicants must not have previously received any scholarship since enrolling at Tanta National University. The scholarship may be granted to up to three siblings.	Students must successfully pass all courses and achieve the minimum GPA required for progression to the next academic level.
6	STEM School Scholarship	Full Scholarship	The scholarship is awarded upon enrollment in Level One to the student with the highest STEM school score in each academic program.	Students must maintain a Very Good overall grade or the equivalent semester GPA throughout their studies.

Scholarship for Sons of Martyrs and Injured Personnel Who Served the Nation (Armed Forces, Police, and Medical Personnel)

Final approval is granted after the Honor Fund confirms the student's eligibility following the submission of the student's information by the university. This confirmation is completed within 72 working hours after the admission procedures have been finalized. 3. If the student has already paid the tuition fees before receiving the approved exemption, the paid amount will be refunded.	Students must successfully pass all courses and achieve the minimum GPA required for progression to the next academic level.
Sons of Personnel with Partial Permanent Disability	A minimum tuition fee reduction of 50% if the disability rate exceeds 50%, the tuition fee exemption shall be no less than the officially determined disability percentage of the injured parent.

 Scholarship Regulations

Applicants must be Egyptian nationals residing in the Arab Republic of Egypt.
If a student meets the eligibility requirements for more than one partial scholarship, they may benefit from only one scholarship, namely the one offering the highest tuition fee reduction.
To renew a scholarship, students must satisfy the renewal requirements applicable to the specific scholarship awarded.
A scholarship will be withdrawn if a student fails an academic level and is not promoted to the next level.
Tanta National University shall submit a detailed annual report on the scholarships awarded to its students to the Council of Private Universities for each academic year.
Based on a proposal submitted by the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research to the Council of Private Universities, these regulations may be amended in line with the Ministry's policies and the State's strategic vision.

 Recommendations Issued by the Martyrs, Victims, Missing Persons, and War, Terrorist, and Security Operations Injuries Honor Fund and Their Families The following recommendations were issued during the meeting held at the Fund's headquarters on Monday, July 28, 2025:

1. Universities, faculties, and institutes shall receive documents verifying the beneficiary's eligibility (sons of martyrs, victims, missing persons, and injured personnel) through either:
  - the Recognition Card issued by the Honor Fund; or
  - an official letter from the relevant authority (Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Interior, or Ministry of Social Solidarity) confirming the applicant's eligibility for the scholarship.
2. Once a student has fulfilled the admission requirements of the respective faculty and has been admitted, the university shall provide the Honor Fund with a list of admitted beneficiaries, including:
  - the name of the martyr or injured person
  - the beneficiary's name
  - the beneficiary's national ID number
  - the faculty
  - the university
  - the academic year, and
  - the type of scholarship (full or partial).
The same procedure shall apply to students already enrolled at universities who belong to the families of martyrs or injured personnel upon applying for the scholarship. The information shall be submitted to the Honor Fund to verify the student's eligibility within 72 working hours following the completion of the application procedures.
1. At the end of each academic year, the university shall submit a student success report to the Honor Fund for beneficiaries covered by this decision. The report shall include:
  - the name of the martyr or injured person
  - the affiliated authority
  - the beneficiary's name
  - the beneficiary's national ID number
  - the name of the university and faculty, and
  - the value of the tuition fee exemption granted.
2. If a scholarship recipient fails, the university shall notify the Honor Fund of the student's academic results within seven days of the official announcement of the results. Also, the relevant authorities shall be notified (Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Interior, and Ministry of Social Solidarity) for dissemination to the beneficiaries affiliated with the fund.
